CLUB MEETINGS…. ALL Membership Meetings are OPEN to the PUBLIC. Meeting Types:
The Monthly ‘General Membership’ Meetings…. are held on EVERY Third (3rd) Tuesday of Each Month. This Regular Monthly Meeting is Held for the Transaction of Ordinary Club Business. Topics Covered…. Club Information, Minutes, Reports and usually a Speaker(s) or Presentation(s). You can also Join the Club &/or the NRA. A Prize Raffle is held at the end of the meeting. Have a hot drink or soda & snacks provided by the Club. Also you will meet some fellow Shooters/Firearm Owners, NRA Members, Club Members, Families & Guests and Visitors. And the Club’s Officers too.”
TIME…. 7:30pm to apx 9:00pm. LOCATION…. Palmdale Fin & Feather Club 600 Eats Ave. S Palmdale, CA. 93550 (see Map Below) The Executive Committee…. holds it’s Regular Monthly Meeting BEFORE the Regular Monthly General Meeting unless a SPECIAL MEETING is called upon. The ‘Ex.Com.’ Meeting is a CLOSED MEETING held from 6:00pm thru 7:30pm. Any Member, or Guest can attend only with a Pre-Scheduled Appointment, FOR Special Club Business &/or if any Safety Violations, Range Hazards or Special Incident Reports are to be presented to the Safety Committee in Person. Call the Secty/Tresr before 4:00pm on or Before the Day of the Meeting for an Appointment.
Safety Committee Meetings…. are Held during the ‘Regular’ Executive Committee meeting or upon call…. by the Safety Officer, or the President, any Safety Committee Member or by any Executive Committee Member. Also by Any Member or Visitor with a Safety Violation / Hazard Report. (see Ex.Comm. section above for more Info.)
Special Meetings…. can be Held at any time upon call…. of the President, or upon the call of the Executive Committee, or upon demand in writing, stating the reason of the proposed meeting, and signed by not less than 10% of the Club’s Membership.
The Annual Membership Meeting…. is held on the Third (3rd) Tuesday of FEBRUARY. This Annual Meeting is where the Ballot Results for the Officers Elections &/or for any Amendments to the Club’s Bylaws, Rules or Ect. are presented to the Membership & Public. All New Officers that are elected are Inaugurated into Office. Any New Changes to the Bylaws, Club Rules or Ect. are read into the ‘Record’ along with any Regular Club Business.
“A Quorum”…. of only Three (3%) Percent of the Members shall constitute a Quorum at any Meeting, with the Exception that Ten (10%) Percent of the Members for matters pertaining to Suspensions or Expulsions of any Member under Article IX of the By-Laws.
